Ditch Leadpages & Save $49/mo: Build Captivating Landing Pages WITHOUT Breaking the Bank

Landing pages are essential to digital marketers.

Leadpages.com was the landing page solution endorsed by Igor Kheifets, in his E-Farming Program.

They worked pretty well but cost me $49 per month on the Standard Plan. (See their pricing here: https://www.leadpages.com/pricing

The Pro plan costs $99 per month. But If you can pay yearly, the price drops to $37 to $74 per month.

OptimizePress.com was recommended by the John Thornhill Ambassador program. I tried switching since they were much cheaper over time. The yearly pricing ranges from $129 to $499. (see pricing here: https://www.optimizepress.com/pricing/ )

Unfortunately, OptimizePress had tech issues with my WordPress site and their excellent support team still couldn’t solve the issues I was having…so I went back to Leadpages.

But I didn’t stop my search for a cheaper option. Since I’ve been dabbling in webmastering since the 1990s, I figured I could just recreate these landing pages on my own with WordPress.

I managed to do so, while also using Beaver Builder as my website builder. I already have been using Beaver Builder’s Standard plan for several years, so there was no additional cost to me. (see pricing here: https://www.wpbeaverbuilder.com/pricing/ )

But the free tool called Gutenberg would’ve also worked. It’s the default page builder provided by WordPress. Both Beaver Builder and Gutenberg have tons of landing page templates. Here is just one source: https://www.gutentor.com/template-library/ (click the “Free” tab on the left).

I cut another $49 from my monthly subscription charges! Those pesky subscription charges are everywhere, especially for entrepreneurs and ontrepreneurs.

All was well except for one thing…

Neither WordPress nor Beaver Builder comes with an evergreen countdown timer. My new adventure was finding a good, free, evergreen countdown timer for my landing pages.
